Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock is a great musical game. This franchise defined a genre and all of the games in it make for great party games. In my opinion, Guitar Hero 3 is the best Guitar Hero game. It is the one I have played a lot over the years, even having the newest titles. It plays like any of the other games. Clone Hero certainly works on Mac, but you'll get better performance if you dual-boot Windows with Boot Camp. But even if you don't, you can still use basically any guitar controller. Standard wireless Xbox 360 guitars are slightly tricky, but any guitar can be made to work if you have the right hardware and software to connect it!
